INTRODUCTION
The Dion Glover Basketball Camp offers boys and girls (ages 8-18) an opportunity to have fun, learn skills, gain confidence, meet new friends, and practice the fundamental and basic team concepts of basketball, including the ability to play in various game situations. Ultimately, this camp will provide a better knowledge of the game we all know as "Basketball".
Today, many youth are not given a chance to learn the true fundamentals of the sport of basketball. Most are taught "street ball", which is non-fundamental and a street-organized sport - very intense and competitive in nature. Many youth are so accustomed to this style of basketball that they often do not know the organized and rudimentary practice of the game.
The Dion Glover Basketball Camp will provide young people with the opportunity to learn an organized and fundamental approach to basketball whereby learning the "true" meaning of the sport. The camp will concentrate on four basic and essential components of basketball.
- Defense
- Rebounding
- Passing and Ball Handling
- Offense
There will also be an abundance of full court games, one on one plays, and evaluations. Campers will be video taped to help their game. There will be contests such as free throw, one on one, a dribbling race, and more. Campers will have the opportunity to meet professional basketball players and NBA coaches and learn from their experiences.
CAMP FOCUS
The camp will focus on individual fundamental skills - every camper will return home a better basketball player. Coaches will be involved in all aspects of the camp sesion. Each player will have the opportunity to associate and learn from NBA players and coaches, college and high school coaches.

ENROLLMENT POLICIES
- A deposit of $100 or full payment is required with each application.
- Balance of payment must be postmarked 14 days prior to the first day of camp.
- Cancellations - your deposit or full tuition will be refunded if canceled before camp begins.
- Refunds will be paid within 15 days of cancellations.
- No refunds will be awarded once camp has started.
